One of the most important elements of priests’ attire is the one that explains to the congregation, which season of the Liturgical Year is currently celebrated. Clergy vestments – or, more precisely, chasubles – represent not only the cleric’s position, but also symbolize the tradition of the Church and Church’s origins.

Clergy clothing of that sort must have a certain color, corresponding with the liturgical season and with the conducted ceremony. For example, rules of Catholic Church state that during a funeral, priests are supposed to wear a chasuble of black, white or purple.

Here you can find Roman, Gothic, Semi-Gothic and Monastic vestments, with corresponding stoles. Amongst them there are pieces of clothing with embroidered applications of Saint Mary or some of the Saints. Search for Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, Saint Peter, Pope John Paul II, or Saint Vincent Pallotti. The front as well as back panels are beautifully decorated with crosses, initials or applications, mostly made with a golden thread.
